surgery went well

recovery is estimated to be 6-8 weeks.  you use you neck for a lot more than you think you do.  sitting is very tiring.

  2. Feel happy for you that the surgery went well. Yesterday in the ethics class, I was kind of surprised to know you went to surgery. You mentioned several time in class that your arm was hurting, but you look so healthy and full of energy. Never thought there is a big issue under this hurting. I think you are lucky to find the cause and get the chance fix it in the first place.
Wish you a quick return to good health.

  5. Glad to hear the surgury went well and I hope you get better soon
One question though. How do we contact you if we want to turn in a paper to be graded. Do we just email you? and if so, what should be the subject line so that it doesnt get filtered out?

  6. Ruth- Your substitute will be handling all the grading from here on out. So direct it to him when you get his info. I have an idea of who is subbing for which classes, but no definite confirmation yet.

And thanks for all the nice comments everyone!

  7. Wow professor Yuen!...I'm glad to hear that you are alright and going to recover fine but this sucks. Your class was the only class I actually wasn't bummed out to go to. I hope by some miracle you recover quickly and take over the class again. Dam...the recovery time would be the exact time the semester ends...talk about bad luck. Well, I guess it can't be helped. Do some physical therapy and get back to teaching us heh. Anyways, best of luck.

  8. Hope you have a full and fast recovery asap! You were the first professor whose lectures I actually looked forward to. I'm disappointed that we will be missing our zany as heck professor.
